In a recent episode of the I Can Fly podcast, Aaron Rodgers joined as the guest to talk about his 2023 season, falling in love once again with football & the Jets, and much more. New York Reporter, Paul Andrew Esden Jr, shared the video clip of Rodgers talking about these, on his official X account, with a long note. Esden Jr wrote, “Aaron Rodgers revealed that he really fell back in love with the game of football after being traded to New York, ‘it was absolutely beautiful, special, & deep, & rich, & yummy, & just incredible. A-Rod further mentioned about experiencing injuries, going through significant changes, and finding moments of profound realization and growth. He described going through a period of darkness, followed by a transformative experience with Ayahuasca. He then joined the Jets where he rediscovered his love for football and formed new connections.
However, his journey took a heartbreaking turn when he suffered an injury and faced uncertainty about his career. Reflecting on these experiences, Rodgers spoke about the concept of ego death and how it led to personal growth and a shift in perspective. He emphasized the importance of trusting the universe and being open to the lessons it offers, even in difficult times.
The four-time MVP concluded with “Last six months that never would have happened at. I’ve been healthy. So I can’t wish things to be different for myself, for the organization, for fans, for so many players. I love playing with them but I’m also very grateful for the many lessons. And once again the ego death and the Phoenix rising from the ashes is not a better version of myself.”
With his new statements, it’s clear that whatever Rodgers had been going through, he now has healed himself. But what did help him in healing? Rodgers has already revealed it earlier.
Aaron Rodgers believes Ayahuasca is his healer?
In 2022, Aaron Rodgers talked openly about trying a powerful plant based medicine, Ayahuasca, describing it as a life-changing experience. He even credited it with helping him win MVP awards after a tough year in 2019. Recently, Rodgers was seen in Costa Rica after attending an ayahuasca retreat organized by Behold Retreats.

A-Rod wasn’t alone; other NFL players like Jordan Poyer and Von Miller also participated. Poyer shared on Instagram that by healing ourselves, we contribute to healing the world, fostering love, empathy, and sustainability.
This means, Rodgers who attended the retreat last month, has definitely undergone some good experience, as he has started loving himself, the team and his fans.
