Jordan Love took the baton from Aaron Rodgers and just ran with it. He is still running! Seemingly, Love absorbed everything Rodgers did and implemented it flawlessly so far. The game against the Chiefs at Lambeau came as a shocker as the Green Bay Packers QB1 and their young squad beat the Chiefs and ruined Patrick Mahomes’ night. It might come as a shocker to some, but Taylor Swift just showing up in the games doesn’t mean the Chiefs can get away with anything. And the Packers proved it.
3 years ago, A-Rod appeared on his weekly segment on the Pat McAfee show and they talked about Jordan Love in depth. At that point, Jordan Love must have closely studied his mentor because the 6-6 Packers have put a significant dent in the armor of Andy Reid and Kansas City Chiefs. MVS dropped more catches than ever, and Kelce couldn’t do much against the Packers’ defense. So, is this game a reflection of the legacy that Rodgers left as a gift to Jordan Love? Was Rodgers right about Jordan Love all along?

McAfee asks A-Rod, “How is Jordan Love doing”, to which Rodgers replies, “He’s doing well, he’s doing really well! You know this is a good time for him to learn, to see what it looks like, to see what weeks of preparation looks like, and just kind of soak it all up, you know.” Rodgers mentioned how he was in a similar position as Love a long time ago and he can understand exactly what he is going through.
The conversation then shifted to how Rodgers did his job as a vet and molded Jordan Love to become the best version of himself. It’s not a mystery that Rodgers did what he could do to help Jordan Love out. He is even helping Zach Wilson to improve, so it can be deduced that Rodgers is a great vet who believes in raising the rookie bars. Though this is time consuming for Rodgers, because he also has to do his own job, because he realized down the line that doing this is very important.
Whatever Rodgers left with Packers and Jordan Love reflects beautifully. A-Rods effects on J Love can be rightfully deduced through some stats after the Packers beat the Chiefs in Lambeau.
J Love is on par with A-Rod
The Packers QB1’s stats are approximately identical to A-Rods’ when comparing their year one with the Packers. These stats are poetic in a sense. The data from 11 games is as follows: Both A-Rod and Love hold a 5-6 record in first 11 games, they have exactly 2,599 yards each. Rodgers attempted 359 passes in those games, while J-Love topped him with his 372 attempts.
