It’s time for all of us to take a break from thinking about Aaron Rodgers. You’ve probably been scratching your head, wondering what his future with the Jets looks like. So, if you’ve been overthinking it, maybe it’s time to take a step back. The man’s enjoying himself at the Phoenix Open, soaking up the sun and making the most of his well-deserved downtime in Arizona. And honestly, can you blame him?
This break was much needed with firings, continuous losses, and endless scrutiny after a rollercoaster season. For Aaron, golf, sun, good vibes, and no pressure, a perfect reset.

Rodgers can be away from football, but football can’t stay away from him. A reporter covering the Phoenix Open managed to catch the Jets’ QB for a brief chit-chat. And she asked Aaron a couple of interesting questions. So, just in case you’re wondering who Aaron Rodgers is rooting for in the Super Bowl?

You might want to thank NBC Sports reporter Kira Dixon for getting the answer for you. And the Jets QB feels it could be Philly’s year. “The Chiefs have been obviously on a roll the last few years. Uh, it seems like it could be Philly’s year.”

Rodgers’ pick is something all the non-Chiefs fans are hoping for. They’re tired of watching the same team lift the Lombardi Trophy over and over. People want fresh winners now. So, Rodgers’ words must have been a relief to their ears. Talking about the Eagles, the Jets QB said, “They had the right amount of turmoil mid-season, where they started questioning Sirianni and Jalen in the passing game. And Saquon’s been the best non-quarterback player in the league all season.”

Rodgers feels that this Super Bowl will come down to the fourth quarter. “It’s gonna be a great game. It’s going to come down to the fourth quarter. The Chiefs have won like seven or eight games in the fourth quarter this year. So, it’s tough to bet against them,” added him.

After that, the reporter tossed a question about his future.

Aaron Rodgers’ future remains unanswered

The Super Bowl is about to end too, but we still don’t have any answers about Aaron Rodgers. Are the Jets keeping him around, or are they bidding him farewell? Nobody seems to have uttered a single word about this. Last week, the Jets’ newly hired coach Aaron Glenn mentioned they conversed with the QB.

But it looks like it’s a long conversation because we have no clue where Rodgers is heading. So, let’s hear it from Rodgers himself. That’s right -Rodgers has shared his plans with the Jets. Heads up: it’s not a ‘satisfying‘ answer, though.

I’m just enjoying my time right now. I’ve talked with the Jets. We figure things out. We figure them out.” That’s all Rodgers had to say. No more, no less. But the Falcons‘ GM, Thomas Dimitroff, has something to say.

Everyone else, except for Rodgers, seems concerned with his future right now. “Aaron Rodgers is undeniably one of the greatest to have ever played the game. However, with the Jets’ roster aging and a slew of free agents on the horizon, it might be time to reevaluate Rodgers’ fit within the team,” said Thomas.

That’s what we’ve been hearing for the past few months. It’s no longer fresh news that the Jets might want to look for a fresh face to lead them in the 2025 season. Many analysts and former players out there have said so. And the word is that Aaron Glenn would most likely not start his career with the Jets with Rodgers as QB.
