Everyone who comes to play in the California Golden Bears knows their most famous graduate, Aaron Rodgers. On November 23, he went to his alma mater before their big game against the Stanford Cardinal. Everyone was excited to know what he told the young players after having 2 decades of experience in the NFL. Here’s an update.
Bears QB Fernando Mendoza was excited while talking about the Rodgers visit and said, “Being a quarterback, everybody knows Aaron Rodgers, he is the greatest of all time.” But that’s not all. Mendoza further revealed that A-Rod told them to be careful during the big games such as Cal-Stanford, as players do not realize how much of a rivalry it is until they are in the game.
Overall, his visit motivated the team to play with their hearts out as they defeated Stanford 24-21. While talking about Aaron Rodgers, the Bears QB added, “To have him, that prominent of a figure, make those remarks about big games, I think really, definitely, it inspired the team.” That speaks volumes of QB’s character. He told the players about what matters.

Will the Jets bench Aaron Rodgers?
There’s no limit to the wild stories coming out of the Jets camp. The Athletic’s Diana Russini got insider news indicating things will worsen much more. She reported, “I’m told no decisions have been made yet, but it appears increasingly likely that the four-time MVP, who is banged up, could be placed on injured reserve or possibly benched over the next few weeks, signaling the end of his disastrous time with the Jets.” If that really happens, it would be heartbreaking for QB’s fans.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg. While mentioning Aaron Rodgers, she further added, “Some around the league say they won’t be surprised if Rodgers is cut in-season.” That’s the wild theory going on in the NFL. No one at the Jets has quashed the cutting rumors yet.

The way things are going on in the Jets, it could be a matter of the next few games. They are struggling with a 3-8 win-loss record. For now, we’ll have to wait till the week 13 game against the Seahawks on December 1. The picture would be clear after that.
