While the rest of the teams this year are seeing each other as rivals, the Jets and Patriots are in a competition of their own. The battle for who will finish last. And right now, the Patriots are winning. But the Jets aren’t giving up that easily. With their recent loss to the Dolphins, they’ve tied the score, with both teams having 10 losses. As a Jets fan, you might feel firsthand embarrassment reading this. But the facts are facts. The Jets had an incredibly disappointing season this year. They recently suffered another embarrassing loss at the hands of the Dolphins, but Aaron Rodgers is still proud of the way his guys played.

In Week 14, the Dolphins beat the Jets 32-26. Tua Tagovailoa was the star of the game, scoring two touchdowns. The QB is indeed coming strong after suffering a concussion earlier this season. While the Dolphins add another win, the Jets draw more trolling. Amid all the criticism, Aaron Rodgers stepped up in defense of his team after suffering a loss at the hands of Tua and Co. While sharing his thoughts about the recent game during a conversation with Pat McAfee, the Jets QB said, “Yeah, we did some good things on offense. We’ve done a lot of good things on offense. So throughout the year, just in spurts, I felt like we were more consistent for four quarters.”

Honestly, for the first time, the Jets’ offense looked more organized in this game. But Tua and Tyreek Hill were just out there killing it. Rodgers, for the first time in a while, threw for more than 300 yards and scored one touchdown. Garrett Wilson and Davante Adams both hit over 100 yards, with Davante scoring a TD too. Let’s just say their stars just aren’t in the right place this season.

We all know they’re done for the season, so can’t we just let them be?

Netizens troll Aaron Rodgers and the Jets after the loss

You can get past a bad season, but you can never escape the trolls. People are trolling the Jets from top to bottom for everything. Even the veteran QB, Aaron Rodgers isn’t safe from the trolls. Then there are all the jokes about how the Jets thought they’d win the Super Bowl with Rodgers this year. Now, after the latest loss, X is flooded with trolls again. You all know how brutal social media can be at times.

What’s your perspective on:

Should Aaron Rodgers hang up his boots, or does he still have magic left for the Jets?

Have an interesting take?

Now that the Jets are officially out of the playoff race, people are at it again. “14 years in a row, nothing has changed. Life as a Jets fan is like being in prison. You’re pretty much on life support all the time”, writes a fan. Well, it’s been over 14 years since they last won the Super Bowl back in 1969. Now, fans are calling out Rodgers, telling him to retire, and some are even saying the management should bench him, Okay now that the Jets are officially eliminated, can we just bench Rodgers, elevate Tyrod as starter and active Jordan Travis to see what the young kid has in his bag? #JetUp.”

Right when the offense seemed to be in place, the defense let them down. “I knew once the Miami Dolphins got the ball first in overtime the Jets were fried rice. I knew that defense was gonna sell.” If Woody Johnson’s looking at all these comments, he needs to make sure the team is in shape before 2025. Hopefully, they’ll come back stronger next season.
