In Week 6 we saw how the New York Jets were down and dusted once more, and it appears that the team’s players are already growing impatient. We all witnessed the team’s wide receiver, Mike Williams, being furious during the post-game conference, and it appears that Aaron Rodgers, the captain, had a few things to say about him.
The A-Rod appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, where he spoke about the WR. The quarterback argued that a player should complete a certain task for which he is playing. Similarly, a WR needs to go cross the red line for a touchdown, which Rodgers expected Williams to do, but the WR failed pretty badly. If a TD had happened, there may have been a whole momentum shift and the Jets might have won. According to Aaron Rodgers, while Mike Williams has done a lot for the squad over the years, this specific game was not in his favor.
Aaron Rodgers explained more, “I have a lot of love & respect for Mike. He does some nice things for us, but on that play, he wasn’t in the right spot. You can make more of that if you want to, but we all should be held to a standard. I hold myself to a standard of greatness, & when it hasn’t been there, I’ve stood up there & said I got to play better. “

What’s your perspective on:
Is Aaron Rodgers right to call out Mike Williams, or should he focus on his own game?

There is a good chance that Davante Adams will be moved to the Jets, resulting in the team’s roster being crowded with wide receivers. According to certain sources, the team is considering trading Mike Williams as a result of the crowd. The obvious explanation for him to be chosen is that the WR does not have a positive on-field QB-WR relationship with Aaron Rodgers.
