It first happened when the veteran went on an Egypt trip after skipping the minicamp. While the Jets fined Rodgers, Saleh also made some comments about the QB’s discipline. Though both later denied having any argument, and the line was drawn. All hope was on a good show in the season. Alas, it didn’t happen.

The coach has won 20 and lost 36 games in 4 seasons with the Jets. Saleh failed to take them to playoffs in any one of those seasons. After a 2-3 win-loss record, changes were inevitable. Owner Woody Johnson has a new task in hand. For the time being, defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich has been appointed as the interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

Gang Green believes that they should also fire the offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. He is considered close to Aaron Rodgers. And fans thronged to X post, expressing their opinion. While one fan wrote, “You fired the wrong guy. Hackett is the true disaster“, another one chimed in and commented, “Why is Hackett still employed? He’s AWFUL.” Will he be fired? It remains a mystery.
