It’s no news by now that Donald Trump has won the Presidential race over Kamala Harris. Those in the football circle who flexed a MAGA hat have received a lot of backlash. Randi Mahomes and Nick Bosa for instance. Patrick Mahomes’s mother is not subject to NFL fines, but the San Francisco 49ers DE is. However, he hasn’t backed out from his stance.

As it happens, the 4x Pro Bowler was aware of the consequences of his actions and thinks what he did was “worth it.” The NFL is averse to political messages. And Colin Kaepernick is a prime example of that. He’s still being blackballed to this day. But Bosa’s nonchalance is still surprising to many.

After the election culminated, Bosa spoke to the media in the locker room. He answered the tough questions posed to him. The reporter wanted to know the DE’s thoughts on getting fined for flashing a MAGA hat after winning the game against the Dallas Cowboys. Check out what he had to say on the matter.

“I don’t know, I haven’t got one yet. But if it comes, it comes,” Bosa said about the potential incoming fine. Donald Trump has literally split the nation into two. Those who love him, endear him wholeheartedly. Those who don’t, avoid him like they are lactose intolerant. Bosa sees himself in the former category. His sentiments were so strong that he chose to risk everything.

“Yeah, it was well worth it,” the DE said when asked about whether he knew that getting fined was a possibility. He had a grin on his face when he said that the “nation spoke” and that speaking further about the incident was not going to change anything. Moreover, watching the election coverage “was fun” for him. He had enough of the media’s questions about his political stance and decided to take a leave.

Regardless of his political allegiance, the 49ers DE has a much bigger fish to fry as he tries to bounce off an injury.

Is Nick Bosa playing against the Buccaneers?

Nick Bosa missed practice four days before the matchup against the Dallas Cowboys but ended up participating in the rivalry. However, new issues have surfaced since the matchup and the DE is now nursing a hip injury. The issue with his hip made him a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. And there’s no major update about it for now.

He’s listed as questionable to play along with Dre Greenlaw, Jake Moody, and many others who are on the IR right now, including Brandon Aiyuk. However, watching Bosa answer those questions in the locker room with a grin on his face makes us believe he isn’t doing that bad in the sense. He wasn’t showing off any discomfort stemming from an injury.

Regardless of his political stand, the 49ers need him on the field against the Buccaneers, who nearly beat the reigning Super Bowl champions.
