Kyle Juszczyk and his wife Kristin were so close to packing their bags and leaving the Bay Area after the Niners released him. The couple was left heartbroken by the team’s decision. But then, out of the blue, San Francisco came up with a two-year deal, re-signing the fullback for $8 million. And of course, that called for a celebration for the couple. So, they decided to take a romantic trip to Europe after the big news.
Now the couple is having a great time together in Iceland. From the Blue Lagoon to Gullfoss Falls, they have been soaking it all in. Kristin’s been giving her followers all the wonderful vibes through her IG stories. Snow-capped mountains, steamy hot springs, the whole Eat, Pray, Love aesthetic – except with a side of NFL muscle.
And Kyle? Well, the Niners fullback might have accidentally broken a rule. In a video shared by Kristin on her IG stories, her 6’2″, 235-pound husband casually strolls across the grass, almost as if he’s back on the Niners’ practice field. At first, it seems like a peaceful landscape shot -until Kristin zooms in to reveal a sign prohibiting walking on the grass.

Ms. Juszczyk captioned the video, “Cue ‘Get off the grass’ Princess Diaries.” And just in case you’re missing the humor here, Kristin is referencing a scene from Anne Hathaway‘s The Princess Diaries. In that scene, Mia Thermopolis (played by Hathaway) is told to stay off the grass while on the royal grounds. But she does it anyway.

In her earlier stories shared on Monday, Kristin also posted a serene video of a waterfall. And a clip from their glacier hike. After the hike, the couple’s next stop was Reynisfjara, Iceland’s famous black sand beach. Last week, Kristin also shared selfies of herself and Kyle from the Blue Lagoon as they enjoyed a geothermal spa and algae mask.
Speaking of snaps, on Sunday the fashion designer also shared her daring experience from her time at the hot springs.
Kristin takes the plunge at Iceland’s hot springs
When you’re in Iceland, you just can’t miss taking a dip in the hot springs. And Kristin knows it well. So, of course, she wasn’t going to miss the chance. Kristin made sure to keep her followers in the loop, sharing snaps and videos from her daring experience. The designer looked stunning in a white swimsuit as she posted pictures of her hot spring adventures. In one of the pictures, Kristin is holding her glass of cocktail while soaking in the hot springs, captioning it, “Keep the spritz safe at all costs.” The picture also featured Kyle alongside his wife, enjoying the moment.
Safe to say, Kyle and Kristin are having the best time of their lives in Iceland, and after a grueling season, the couple truly deserves it. Not to mention the initial heartbreak they felt when San Francisco released him. The fashion designer also shared an emotional post, featuring a video that captured some of the precious moments of their journey with the Niners. She penned a heartfelt note, writing, “This past week has made Kyle and I reflect on our past 8 years in the Bay. We grew up here. We turned friends into family here.“

She concluded her note writing, “It’s truly been the best years of our lives. Kyle’s curtain isn’t closed just yet, and we couldn’t be more happy and emotional to stay home!!! ❤️ We’re forever Faithful.” This year, she also launched her NFL-licensed apparel brand, named Off Season. Kristin’s designs are already popular among NFL fans, and her new launch is also gaining popularity quickly among the fans.
