The 58th Super Bowl is almost here! As the countdown to Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium narrows, excitement builds with both the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs finalizing preparations. On Friday, the 49ers unveiled their injury report. Fortunately, Kyle Shanahan’s team’s injury report signals a robust lineup ready to face off in Sunday’s much-anticipated clash.

This is good news for all the players as well as for the 49ers fans, who look forward to claiming their first Super Bowl win since 1994. The injury report reflects a remarkably healthy team, indicating minimal concerns over player fitness as they all set to hear the cheers of their fans at Allegiant Stadium.

The 49ers have showcased an impressive recovery arc. It seems that they were saving it for the season’s grand finale. Initially, there were concerns when lethal weapons like George Kittle (TE) and Arik Armstead (DT) showed limitations in practice early in the week due to health concerns. However, by Friday, the narrative shifted positively.

Kalia Davis is the only player on the sidelines

ESPN’s Nick Wagoner reported that George Kittle and Arik Armstead “are good to go”. Furthermore, both players achieved full participation in team drills. Kittle was dealing with a toe injury while Armstead was managing a foot and knee injury. Additionally, this pattern of recuperation wasn’t exclusive to them; Ambry Thomas and Oren Burks joined in as well. They too moved from limited to full engagement in practice sessions. The only player who remains on the sidelines is Kalia Davis (DT).

Davis is listed as questionable due to a high ankle sprain injury. Fortunately, for the Niners, the bulk of the roster presents a strong front, but the Chiefs have a few players injured. The absence of Joe Thuney due to a pectoral injury is a significant challenge for the team, with his contribution being irreplaceable in recent successes.

Additionally, the team’s offense also leans heavily on talents like Isiah Pacheco. Unfortunately, Pacheco’s season has been marred by injuries. However, he still managed to showcase his vital role through impressive rushing stats. Alongside Pacheco, rookie sensation Rashee Rice is also battling an ankle injury. He stands as a beacon of hope for the receiving corps, drawing parallels to the impact of Tyreek Hill.
