Russell Wilson is a proud supporter of the NC State Wolfpack and has been going to a lot of their games recently. For those who already know, NC State is Wilson’s alma mater, and from the looks of it, he has their name etched in his heart as he doesn’t miss a chance to cheer for the team. A couple of days ago, the Steelers QB was spotted at the NC State Vs. Oklahoma basketball game, which the Pack won. This time, he’s back at it again.

The American Airlines Center saw the Duke Blue Devils lock horns with the NC State Wolfpack only to lose. Now, the Pack is headed to the Final Four and the Super Bowl QB couldn’t be more hyped about what is to come. His post on X said it all.

After NC State won their ninth straight game, they became the seventh double-digit seed to make it to the Final Four. The NC State shot 73.1% in the second half and toppled Duke. In the wake of this good news, Wilson made a post a wholesome post that provided a taste of nostalgia. He exclaimed, “WOLFPACK BABY! #FinalFour.”

This message is currently sitting at nearly 327k views as other Pack fans also joined the QB in this celebration. However, it did not stop some of the users from calling out the QB for leaving NC State and moving to Wisconsin. Nevertheless, what counts is that the Steelers QB is enjoying his off season engaging in his favorite activities. Interestingly, even after winning 9 straight games, the NC State team has the most losses of any other team that had made it to the semifinals.

On Saturday, the NC State team will be taking on Purdue in Glendale Arizona after they beat the Devils 76-64. Hopefully, the Steelers QB will be there to support the NC State Wolfpack like the last time he was there in the PPG Paints Arena.

Not the first Wilson has showcased support to the “Wolfpack”

The last NC State game Wilson went to was when the Wolfpack played against the Oklahoma team and won the game 79-73. He was spotted with the Steelers limited partner Thomas Full. When the Pack won, he shared the same message on his IG Story. “Wolfpack!!!” wrote Wilson in celebration.

Another thing to note here is that Russell Wilson is the only athlete from NC State to have been awarded the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. This was after he won the Super Bowl in 2014, which solidified jersey #16, which was honored in the NC State. Will the Steelers QB be there at the game against Purdue? Let us know in the comments!
