One of the reporters in the room brought up Jim Harbaugh’s return to the NFL as the Chargers’ new head coach and asked the younger brother about his thoughts on the newfound accolade. It is safe to say that he is just as ambitious about the rivalry as he is elated about Jim’s new job.

“My thoughts are, we play him next year. So, uh, we’re looking forward to all of it. Just very happy for him, proud of him, excited for him, excited for his family.” The Baltimore Ravens’ HC even spilled the tea about his older brother’s kids already having their bags packed for a new life in Los Angeles.
He also mentioned that his selection as the Chargers’ new head coach is “well deserved” and that the LA Chargers have gotten themselves “one great coach. “ The brotherly rivalry goes back at least a decade, and John Harbaugh hasn’t been able to recover from one particular loss.

Can John Harbaugh change history?
It was 2013 when John Harbaugh lost Super Bowl XLVII against Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers. It was dubbed the “Harbaugh Bowl. ” The only difference this time is that Jim is coaching a West Coast team but a different franchise. Now that the wheels are set in motion, we expect to see a reformed Los Angeles Chargers that might be a future Super Bowl contender.

Hopefully, 2013 doesn’t repeat for the Baltimore Ravens as they gear up to host the Kansas City Chiefs in the M&T Bank Stadium. The Chiefs are already 3-1 ahead of the Ravens rivalry. Losing this game would mean the end of the post-season for both teams.
