Mike Evans has signed an extension deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has been carefree for a while now. His extension with the Bucs had been a rumor for quite some time, but it gladly came through at a whopping $52 million. This has also provided the WR with some free time on his hands. As the NFL realm enters the offseason and the vital moves made in it, Evans can easily invest this period in other activities—like watching an NBA showdown!

A video of Mike Evans has been making the rounds of the internet. Showcasing him at the Toyota Center cheering for his favorite team, the priorities of the WR are evidently visible as he tunes in to his inner fan. The highlight of the video is the reflection of this persona of the football player at the time of the wrong call. In the clip, the Bucs’ newly signed WR Mike Evans portrays the emotions any sports fan can relate to.

A video from an X account by the name of Bradeaux shared a video. Mike Evans is upset at the referee for some call he made. The Houston Rocket’s PG Fred VanFleet is also seen having a couple of words with Mike Evans. Though the words are unintelligible, we can see the emotions the Bucs WR was facing at the moment.

The video on X is captioned, “Mike Evans screaming at the ref courtside with Fred VanVleet 😂😂”. Maybe the Bucs wide receiver is a Houston Rockets enthusiast. He might have been outraged because the Houston team lost to the Los Angeles Clippers with a final score of 116-122. But, there is no confirmation for the same. Fred VanFleet, Alperen Sengun, and Dillon Brooks were among the top-scoring players from the Rockets.

However, their efforts went in vain because Paul George and Kawhi Leonard singlehandedly scored the most points on the team. They led the LA Clippers to a much-needed victory. Though Evans is sad about the Houston Rockets sinking, all is not lost for the Bucs WR because he is about to get huge cheques in his bank account.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers don’t want Evans to leave

According to the recent developments, it’s confirmed that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reinstated Evans’ contract for another two years for $52 million. Letting Evans go could have been problematic for the Bucs because he is one of the star players of the Tampa Bay franchise.
