Wasn’t Tyreek Hill happy with the Kansas City Chiefs? The wide receiver who joined the Miami Dolphins last year has expressed his happiness several times after joining the new team. Once again, he compared the two teams, likening himself to NBA legend Kevin Durant.
The Cheetah had an exceptional season during his first with the Phins. He also praised Tua Tagovailoa’s abilities and coach Mike McDaniel’s “football acumen” and way of handling things. Once again, while praising him, he wished that the NFL had more coaches like McDaniel, as he allows his freedom, unlike the Chiefs.

In a recent episode of his podcast, Tyreek Hill talked about why he thinks the Dolphins are better than his former team, the Chiefs. He mentioned that when he first joined the Chiefs, they told him and his friends to stay off social media, relax, and focus on playing football. He felt like he had come this far, and to the team, to show who he was and share his personality, but these restrictions made it challenging. Additionally, Hill said having coaches like Mike McDaniel, “who allows players to just be them,” is fortunate.
He continued, “Like you see me, I’m on Twitter talking crazy every day. I’m like Kevin Durant or the NBA right now, like I’m going to speak my Pace, it’s like bro I’m a person too. I should be able to tell you my opinion. You don’t say your piece, so I should be allowed to say.” Kevin Durant is the second-most followed basketball player on social media and is very active online, as he believes he is “qualified to talk about basketball.” Tyreek Hill feels the same way. According to him, if someone criticizes him for dropping passes in a game, he should be able to say, “Hey, I’m out there playing the game, not you, leave me alone.”
