In a recent episode of the Punch Line with Marlon Humphrey podcast, Tyreek Hill joined Humphrey and co-host sports creator, Jack Settleman, to talk about plans after his playing career. Talking about retirement, Hill explained, “I’ll probably be doing some other stuff so I got a dream of being a coach whenever I’m done playing.” He mentioned his dream of becoming a coach, starting at the high school level and working his way up.

Hill also revealed, “I was in Kansas City, I used to be a receiver coach for Lee Summit High North, like every Friday, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday I go to practice….” actively building his coaching resume. Tyreek also expressed a desire to remain involved in football, potentially in the NFL or Flag Football. However, he sees a bigger purpose in being part of a school, allowing him to impact a broader community. Humphrey hinted at the possibility of Tyreek following a “route” similar to Deion Sanders.

The Ravens cornerback said, “Obviously you are a very media-friendly guy which would mean you’d probably take a very similar route as Deion,” which is coaching at the high school level and engaging in media-friendly activities, creating content, and making videos. Hill, who knew this was coming, acknowledged the similarity, and expressed openness to such a route, emphasizing his passion for content creation and his commitment to maintaining speed despite aging.
