After months of speculation, it seems like the day is finally upon us. Could it be possible that Bill Belichick, who has been with the New England Patriots for more than two decades, is about to be fired? He is often touted as the “most successful coach in the history of the NFL” and has helped the Pats win their six Super Bowl Championships. But now after a 3-10 record so far in the season and a four-year playoff drought, is Robert Kraft finally going to pull the plug on the 71-year-old coach?
But what was 7x Super Bowl winner Tom Brady’s reaction to all of this? Did he agree with the rumors or disagree with them? With the world waiting to hear the thoughts of the other half of the Brady-Belichick partnership, what will he finally say?

NBC Sports’ Pro Football Talk reported that Patriots owner Robert Kraft has already made the decision to show the door to his head coach Belichick once the season ends in February. But with the Pats losing 10 games until now, why wasn’t the decision made earlier? Tom Curran of the publication reported that they were looking to trade Belichick and that’s why he was not fired like Josh McDaniels of the Las Vegas Raiders.
And where is Brady while all of this has been going on? The GOAT of football still hasn’t expressed his views on this publicly, although in the past he has said that “the thought of him not being in New England is hard for me to think about.” However, former Pats TE, Rob Gronkowski, defended Belichick saying, via TMZ, “He breathes football. He eats football. He sleeps football. He yells football, let me tell you that!”
But it doesn’t seem like these factors and emotions will play a role in Kraft’s decision.

Is there hope for Bill Belichick?
After the 10-6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, and then losing two more games before finally recording a win by upsetting the Pittsburgh Steelers, the decision has become easier for Kraft. But things might change for Belichick yet. They have four formidable teams coming at them in the upcoming weeks, and even if they manage to record a 3-1 record, there’s a chance that Kraft might be persuaded to keep his relationship with Belichick intact.
But if they lose all four upcoming games, they will end the season at 3-14, which will be their worst record in almost thirty years. Will Belichick manage to turn the Pats around or the bigger question now is, does he want to continue? Although he has shown no inclination to retire, should he ride off into the sunset without tarnishing his record further?
