The former WR of the New England Patriots is a bona fide Swiftie. As the Kelce-Swift saga continues, blossoming into a wonderful relationship, Julian Edelman notices the bump she’s been providing football with. The 37-year-old did not shy away from singing praises of the pop icon Taylor Swift.

As Travis Kelce embarks on another great professional season, last year was incredible for his personal life as well. The 2X Super Bowl winner’s relationship with Swift hasn’t just been wonderful for him. According to Edelman, it has worked wonders for the NFL as well.

Julian Edelman recognizes the ‘Swift’ effect

“It’s great for the league”, said the former MVP about Swift’s appearances to watch the Kansas City Chiefs. But he believes that it is not only the Chiefs that are enjoying the newfound attention, but the entire league.

“Taylor Swift is bringing so many different kinds of fans that don’t usually follow football to watch football”, said Edelman. According to some statistics, there has been a 53% increase in female viewership ever since Swift started appearing in the games.

“We’ve all seen the bumps, the Taylor bump”, said Edelman, referring to the bump in viewership. And it looks like the NFL is going to enjoy this favor. The relationship between Kelce and Swift seems to be going strong and has already crossed the 6 months mark.

Swift has been in the public eye for more than a decade but has never been this open about any of her past relationships. It’s clear they both are enjoying each other’s company and sources close to them also claim the same.
