The Kelce brothers are up for a challenge together! It has been 4 months and 2 days since Jason Kelce retired off the field. Since then, many wondered what will be his next plan during the offseason. Although he is feeling “weird not going into the building” for OTAs this time, he has his other tournaments to keep him hooked and busy. Entering the sports arena once again, Jason is all set to play, though not on the gridiron, but on the golf court, alongside his brother, Travis Kelce.

Both the Kelce brothers will be seen taking on the golf course at the American Century Championship. Last year in July, Travis mashed a golf ball for 362 yards at Lake Tahoe and won the 2023 long drive competition at the American Century Championship. Now once again he is back to defend his competition title, but this time, he has his brother Jason accompanying him at the tournament.

Who will win amongst the Kelce brothers?

In a recent X upload by American Century Championship, the page announced Travis and Jason Kelce’s appearance for the title. It reads, “DRUM ROLL…the moment many of you have been waiting for: it’s official – Travis Kelce will be returning for his 6th consecutive appearance, and joining him for the first time is his brother, Jason Kelce!”

Amidst the conversation between the two brothers on the course, fans were speculating whether Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift would join in for the event. When asked, Phil Weidinger, representing ACC jokingly commented, “Taylor Swift will be performing her summer concert tour in Europe at that time, so do not ask me that question.”

Though, despite her absence, eyes will be on the Kelce brothers who have garnered enough attention from their Podcast conversations. The two taking on the golf field remains a scenario unseen, hence paving the way for new narratives and competitions to fall in.

In light of this, the ACC page further asked a question to the social media users, “Which #Kelce will you be betting on?” The polls seemed to be divided between the two brothers. However, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce got some more favors as according to the fans “He is basically a golf pro compared to Jason, who just started playing.”

Travis Kelce is a golf pro!

Travis Kelce, known for his successful NFL career, is known for his diverse sports interests. After his recent Super Bowl win, Tiger Woods’ fan, Kelce, was seen playing golf in Las Vegas. Kelce, originally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, joined the NFL in 2013 after playing at the University of Cincinnati. Though football made him famous, Kelce enjoys playing golf during the offseason and has participated in celebrity tournaments, including winning a long drive contest at the 2023 American Century Championship.

He was also seen at the 2022 Las Vegas 8 AM Golf Tournament and competed in the Match VIII with teammate Patrick Mahomes against Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, where they emerged victorious. Now again he is off to win another Championship, as he has already said, “I’m getting better. I’m a work in progress.” Patrick Mahomes, on the other hand, isn’t participating this year. He took part in the tournament the previous four years.

This year’s championship will run from July 12 to 14, with the winner being announced on Sunday. Other players who will be participating for the first time are the “MLB legends Alex Rodriguez and Albert Pujols; NHL players Matthew Tkachuk and John Carlson; NFL quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Joe Flacco; six-time NBA All-Star Blake Griffin; former NBA forward Chandler Parsons; NBA player Austin Reeves; and former soccer star Taylor Twellman.”
