Tyreek Hill is known for his speed and endurance on the gridiron. With his uber-fast momentum and his ability to outrun anyone who is trying to catch him, Tyreek has earned his NFL nickname ‘Cheetah’. Off the field, the Dolphins wide receiver is renowned for his honest and jarring takes on social media. Tyreek Hill is not one to mince his words, as proved by his latest reply to Jake Paul’s claim.

Hill has already made waves in the NFL world. Recently, he expressed his wish to branch out to other sports, and boxing came to his mind. It all began when Tyreek Hill said he wanted to fight the famous boxer Jake Paul during an interview.

Tyreek Hill wants Jake Paul to be his first fight

In an interview with Bob Menery on the Fully Tilted podcast, Tyreek Hill contemplated a career in fighting. The 29-year-old wide receiver said, “…I want to meet Dana White… I want to get in a cage or I want to box.” For his first fight, the popular wide receiver wished to fight someone like Jake Paul in the boxing ring.  To which Jake Paul’s reply was, “All these guys yap yap yap. Tyreek – you would get mauled in the ring by me. Lion kills a cheetah every time in a small space. No where to run. Come on brother.”

Tyreek Hill did not mince his words while replying to the boxer. The Dolphins wide receiver had a 7-word savage reply to Jake Paul: “Your mouth gone get you in trouble”. Jake Paul’s open challenge to Tyreek Hill does not come as a surprise, given the fact that the NFL player expressed doubts about the boxer’s capabilities. Bob Menery asked Hill about Paul during the Fully Tilted podcast, “Is he as tough as he looks?” Hill’s response was, “I don’t think so, bro.” Surprised at the answer and impressed by Hill’s confidence, Menery further inquired, “Do you have hands?” Hill’s answer was, “Yes, bro. I grew up boxing.”

Tyreek Hill seems self-assured when it comes to throwing hands. However, if he does fight Jake Paul, he will be facing a boxer with a respectable record of 8-1 in his 9 career fights. Paul, with his notorious bad-boy image and the numerous controversies surrounding his boxing career, is at the zenith of fame. Tyreek Hill has also had his fair share of contentions in the NFL world, making him a popular figure amongst fans. A fighting round between these two would surely attract the attention of sports enthusiasts all over the world. Is it possible that we might see a Tyreek Hill-Jake Paul match-up in the boxing ring soon? Only time will tell.
