Alvin Kamara's sister is a senior football manager—are we seeing a new power duo in sports?

Alvin Kamara is inspired by his sister! “She was like my middle figure,” Alvin Kamara previously said, reflecting his sentiments and regard for his sister, Garmai K. Momolu. The New Orleans Saints star running back shares a sibling bond with Garmai that is as strong as his offensive ability on the field. Entering his 8th season, Alvin never fails to appreciate his football-enthusiast sister. She has become his biggest support system during tough times.

With Garmai’s support, the NFL player boldly dealt with a suspension and an ankle injury last season, which even led to him missing four games. However, this did not affect his performance, as he recorded 75 receptions and ranked second among RBs under OC Pete Carmichael. Impressively, he is moving forward to make more records with the guidance and support of his football manager sister.

Like Alvin, Garmai K. Momolu has a strong passion for athletics. She has been serving as a Senior Football Manager for Klutch Sports Group, a limited liability company (LLC), since May 2020. Beyond her athletic interests, she is also engaged in the fashion industry.

Moreover, she represented top bridal and ready-to-wear designers. She also assisted with all PR and social media as the Assistant to the Senior Publicist and Account Manager at CLD PR and Chic Little Devil Style House for one year.

Garmai K. Momolu also worked with Kontrol Magazine as a fashion editor for one year and four months in 2011. Despite an 11-year age difference, Kamara’s sister has a profound affinity and unique connection with her NFL brother.

Garmai K. Momolu and Alvin Kamara’s strong sibling bond

Garmai has always enjoyed the benefits of being an older sister, and it’s no surprise that her fashion-designing journey began at home. She used Alvin and their other brother, Allen, as models to develop her fashion design abilities when they were young. Garmai even dressed Alvin in girls’ clothes. “One of the perks of being an older sister is they were like my little baby dolls, and I could play with them,” Garmai previously noted.

Since they were kids, the NFL siblings have motivated one another by honing their abilities. Earlier, Kamara revealed that at the age of 12, he wanted to race his sister in her Chevy Malibu to enhance his speed, but Garmai declined and drove out of the driveway. However, she later adored his strength.

According to reports, when the former Tennessee Volunteers player’s mother was busy with her job, Garmai was the one who cared for her siblings. She prepared meals for her brothers, and Alvin still loves the macaroni and cheese she makes.
