Matthew Stafford was one of the big-name players to move in the summer. He was the first quarterback to trade teams, moving from Detroit Lions to NFC West big boys Los Angeles Rams, in 2020.
The Lions got quarterback Jared Goff, a 2022 1st-round pick, 2023 1st-rounder, as well as a 2021 3rd-rounder in exchange for Stafford.
The 33-year-old veteran has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the league over the last decade. After returning from a major injury in 2020, Stafford threw for 4,084 yards with 26 passing TDs last season.

He has thrown for 45,109 yards with 282 passing TDs since making his NFL debut back in 2009. The Florida-born quarterback finally got his move away from Detroit earlier this summer.
