Tragedy struck the NASCAR community as news broke that Brad Keselowski’s father, Bob, passed away. Admittedly, this was not a big shock because Keselowski’s brother revealed earlier that their father was not in a good shape.
Meanwhile, Brad Keselowski penned an emotional message in tribute to his father. He wrote, “My dad will always be my hero. He was quiet and understated, but that didn’t change the impact he had on me or that I watched him have on everyone who knew him. I am forever grateful for what I learned from this man, and I will remember him every day.”
In light of the tragedy, several tributes poured in from the NASCAR community, led by Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Brad Keselowski will race his hardest for his father
Now, all that the veteran driver can do is try to move on without one of his biggest supporters. It is also worth mentioning that Bob Keselowski also had a hand in helping a few other NASCAR drivers in their careers. One of them was Stewart-Haas Racing driver Chase Briscoe, and he will be forever grateful.
When I moved to North Carolina I didn’t really know anyone and would go shop to shop trying to find somewhere to volunteer and learn. Spent almost a whole summer with @KeselowskiBrian and his dad Bob, learned a lot from Bob. Always enjoyed learning from him and listening to him. https://t.co/dqBNfIJNcS

My prayers go out to the entire Keselowski family. Bob was a mentor to me, a brilliant mind, a respected individual, and a friend to me and countless others. God speed Bob Keselowski, thank you for everything you taught me. https://t.co/Gk3Hs4kluj

Bob Keselowski always provided insight and clarity when I was looking for it when working on stories. And a smile and sometimes a laugh that made me know he was enjoying every minute of it. RIP. https://t.co/j8cXrcgYhi
