After Jockey Jose L. Campos’s fall, he was admitted to the local hospital in the Toronto area. This happened prior to Thursday’s first race. The rider bore rib and back injuries. His agent and retired Jockey, Gerry Olguin informed the press of the incident. He revealed that Campos had broken multiple ribs and his vertebrae got fractured as well. He was in good spirits and was riding in his extremities when all this happened. However, the good news is that so far no surgery is scheduled.
