Fans are going berserk as Usain Bolt hints at a possible comeback. The legendary sprinter shared a video via Twitter where he revealed his desire to “unretire” himself. Notably, NFL legend Tom Brady has also come out from the retirement club just 6 weeks after he announced his retirement. This has got many athletes like Bolt reconsidering their retirement.

As soon as Bolt shared his possible comeback idea, fans were quick to flood the comments. There are fans who are elated to know about Bolt’s possible comeback. At the same time, there are others who think it’s too late for the sprinter now.

What do fans think about Usain Bolt making a comeback?

Fans seem divided over Usain Bolt‘s possible comeback. Bolt hasn’t made any official announcement as yet though. He took to Twitter to share a video of his sprinting days. But along with it, Bolt wrote that he might just come out of retirement.

“Might need to unretire myself or is it too late for me?”?wrote Bolt. Prior to this, Bolt also shared a video of him doing some boxing practice. Bolt has his own fanbase and many of them are super excited to see him return to the track.

“Never too late to return to what you love,” posted a Twitter user. Many others encouraged Bolt, adding that they had stopped watching track and field ever since he retired.

“I believe you can still bring the thrill to track, I stop watching once you retired. Please rethink of it.”

The 8-time Olympic medalist is an iconic legend. Because of his speed, Usain Bolt was renamed the “Lightning Bolt”. Back in 2017, when Usain Bolt lost out on his last 100m finals, winner and arch-rival Justin Gatlin bowed down to the legend. This just shows the level of dominance Bolt had.

Fans can’t wait to see Usain return to the track and do his famous To Di World pose after he wins. But at the same time, there are others who think that Bolt’s time is over and he should love on now.

Is it too late for Usain Bolt?

Usain Bolt is now 35 years old; he retired when he was aged 30. Although he wanted to keep going at it, his injury prevented him from doing so. Now that Bolt is comprehending a comeback, there are people who think that it’s time he moved on.

“You?re a legend already, you?ve treated the whole world to something special. Move on and concentrate on other areas,” commented a fan.

There were others who posted “too late”. One user also pointed out that even if the sprinting legend returned, it would be hard for him to maintain the speed he did before.

However, there was one fan who pointed out all the legends who “unretired” to come back in the game. This list has some big names like Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, and Tom Brady. The only one missing is Usain Bolt.
