The LSU Tigers just can’t stop winning at the moment. Amidst all the drama following the exclusion of Angel Reese, the NCAA champions have now won seven games on the trot. However, there is still no reasonable explanation coming from the LSU’s coaching staff about Bayou Barbie’s absence from the team.
The 21-year-old did not join her team on their trip to the Cayman Islands. Nonetheless, it looks like the All-American forward is finally looking to make a comeback.

Recently, Angel Reese posted a story on her Instagram in which she appears to be practicing on LSU’s home court. Fans will be glad to see the talented No.10 take the court and pick up from where she left. The No.7 LSU Tigers have been playing without Reese ever since Mulkey benched her at half-time in the game against Kent State on Nov.14. Following this, Reese did not accompany her team in their convincing victories against Southeast Louisiana and Texas Southern. As a result, various rumors have circulated about Reese’s low grades being the reason behind her non-inclusion.
However, head coach Kim Mulkey did not entertain any such gossip when asked about Reese’s absence from the team. Moreover, she assured everyone that Reese is still part of the team and it was just a coach’s decision. Earlier in a postgame news conference, she said, “We hope to see her sooner than later. You always have to deal with locker room issues. Sometimes you don’t know about it. Sometimes you want to know more than you’re entitled to know. I’m going to protect my players, always. They are more important.”
