After being ranked as the #1 team in the preseason, the Gonzaga Bulldogs have never looked back. They have been mauling opponents and are currently 7-0 in the season. Tonight, they take on the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in a bid to extend this run.
The Bulldogs are coming off a win against the 2019 NCAA champions, the Virginia Cavaliers. They lived up to their title of the #1 ranked offense during their dominant 98-75 victory. Senior Corey Kispert scored 32 points while equalizing the college record for most three-pointers made with nine threes.

The Lumberjacks’ fortunes have been the opposite. They started their season with five losses, but finally broke the duck with a win against the Denver Pioneers. It was a close encounter, and they scraped by with a three-point victory.
Expected lineups
The Bulldogs have been consistent with their lineups so far. They will be expected to start with Drew Timme, Anton Watson, Corey Kispert, Joel Ayayi, and Jalen Suggs. With stakes not as high as the previous game, lower rotational players like Oumar Ballo and Aaron Cook could see an increase in minutes.
The Lumberjacks lineups have seen some changes over the games, with coach Shane Burcar trying new tactics to get wins. Their starting five will consist of Cameron Shelton, Luke Avdalovic, Jay Green, Carson Towt, and Jackson Larsen.

Will the Gonzaga Bulldogs pile on the Lumberjacks misery?
Whether it is a ranked opponent or an unranked one, Gonzaga has been merciless. They started their season with a win against Kansas, and then also recorded wins against Iowa and WVU. So in comparison, Northern Arizona is a smaller hurdle for them to overcome.
They have two players in Kispert and Timme, who are averaging over 20 points per game. Guard Jalen Suggs is also having an excellent freshman season, averaging 15.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 5.9 assists. So they have a lot of firepower on the team.

Cameron Shelton has been carrying the Lumberjacks offense, and he is the only threat to the Bulldogs. If they can keep him quiet, it could end up being a blowout win for the Bulldogs. It should be a comfortable win for them, and it will see them move to 8-0 for the season.
