NCAA Basketball returns to action with an exciting matchup from the SEC Conference. The number six ranked Tennessee Volunteers play hosts to rival Missouri Tigers, as they face off at the Thompson-Boiling Arena at 8:30 pm EST.

The Vols enter this game on the back of a terrible defeat against the Gators. It was a huge surprise as they got blown out by the unranked Gators. But it was only their second loss of the season. So they will be hoping to rebuild momentum now, as their fixtures only get tougher from here.

In contrast, the Tigers are coming off an excellent performance against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Tigers were too good for them on both ends, as they shot 60% from the field while restricting the Gamecocks to just 39%. Similar to the Vols, the Tigers have also lost just two games all season, one of which came against the Vols.

NCAA Basketball: Can the Vols bounce back to form tonight?

For the Vols, there is still no word about the return of four-star prospect Corey Walker Jr. He suffered an injury in November, and since then he has been unable to feature for the Vols. But the rest of the team is healthy for tonight’s clash.

So they will start with Josiah-Jordan James, Keon Johnson, and Santiago Vescovi as their guards, while John Fulkerson and Yves Pons start as their forwards.

The Tigers have also been able to stay healthy for this important clash. They’ve been consistent with their lineup from the start of the season, and tonight will be no different.

Although they had a terrible game last time, the Vols will still be the favorites tonight. When they faced the Tigers earlier in the season, they beat them by 20 points, which showed the gap between the two teams. Although the Tigers have improved a bit since then, the Vols will still be able to prevail. It won’t be as easy as last time, and it will be their 11th win of the season.
