The Gonzaga Bulldogs are back in action tonight as they take on the Northwestern State Demons. The Bulldogs are coming off a statement victory against the Hawkeyes. With this win, the Bulldogs asserted that they are the best team in the country.
Jalen Suggs led with 27 points in what was an excellent shooting night for the Bulldogs. They out-rebounded the Hawkeyes too and were strong defensively. Their record now stands at 4-0.

Unlike the Bulldogs, the Demons are enduring a tough start to the season. They have had just one win in eight games so far. That victory came against Champion Christian College and it was a 33 point demolition win. But except for that one game, they have been poor.
Expected lineups
The Zags would most likely go with their trusted starting five of Drew Timme, Anton Watson, Corey Kispert, Joel Ayayi, and Jalen Suggs. There could be changes to bring in lower rotational players into the lineup, or their minutes could be increased for this game.
The Demons will also be expected to have an unchanged lineup. So their starting five will feature CJ Jones, Jairus Roberson, Trenton Massner, Larry Owens, and Jamaure Gregg. Massner missed two games, including their win, but now he is back into the lineup.
Will the Gonzaga Bulldogs go 6-0?

The Bulldogs have two back-to-back games against the Demons, today and tomorrow. So winning both could extend their winning streak to six. They currently have as the second-best offense and the 12th best defense in the country, according to KenPom. So they are a balanced team who excel on both ends.
In Timme and Kispert, they have two players averaging over 20 points per game, while their other starters average double-digits in points too. But these two games could see a lesser role for them. Bench stars Aaron Cook and Oumar Ballo will be given an opportunity to show out.
It should be two easy victories for the Zags. The quality in their team is far more than what the Demons have, not to mention the Demons’ poor form. The Bulldogs will go 6-0 after these games and further assert themselves at the top.
