Will the Hoosiers survive without their star QB, or is this the end of their season?

The time doesn’t flow in favor of the Hoosiers’ redshirt senior quarterback Kurtis Rourke lately. His nail popped off his throwing hand during a roughing the passer call against Nebraska Cornhuskers. The whole stadium was like, “Whoa!” when they realized Indiana’s star QB was out of the game. No lies in their gut, as the team officially announced on Sunday afternoon that the 23-year-old will be out indefinitely as his right thumb is getting bad.

However, amidst the despair, the only good thing is the Maple Missile’ got his strong support system to sail through this adversity and she is none other than his lifelong sweetheart Caroline Clippard.

The Hoosiers have come a long in the season as compared to their past dip and if you’re a fan you know who the man behind the glory is. Yes, the sixth-year senior transfer from Ohio University made all the talking for this team this year and took zero credit. All he did was introduce a rock-solid offense that the Hoosiers lacked for a long. But Rourke becoming a growing sensation was somehow written in his brother’s phenomenal tenure with the Ohio Bobcats. The younger one just followed in their footsteps and the rest is history. But what might not be engraved as a history was his not-so-public affair with girlfriend, (presently wife) Caroline Clippard in between. While the exposure remained limited, the emotion didn’t.

Apart from being an active Ohio Bobcats Volleyball faithful and a sports management diploma, Clippard has an equally impressive traditional academic record. She’s almost done with her Bachelor’s in Communication at Ohio University, with a minor in Sports Management, and also got experience as a marketing manager. She, however, seemingly connected with her superstar beau through their common sports zeal and chose to keep on connecting for the rest of their lives.

They are now living the high of a harmonious marriage somewhere in the land of Indiana and the 6-foot-5, couldn’t sing praise of his wife.
