Although there’s been radio silence on the boyfriend front, Kysre Gondrezick is clearly staying focused on herself and cheering for those closest to her—especially her younger brother, Grant Gondrezick II. The freshman has been killing it for Detroit Mercy, lighting up courts even as his team struggles for wins. And his sister couldn’t help but clap the loudest for his little one.

After three tough games, the guard bounced back, dropping 21 points and dishing out five assists in a valiant effort against IU Indy. His proud sister re-shared his post about his performance on her Instagram, tagging it with a single powerful word, “Stud!” She even doubled down by echoing the same in his comment section.

This shoutout came on the heels of back-to-back impressive games in one week for Grant. After 21 against Indy, he also recorded 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists in a 90-67 loss against Purdue Fort Wayne. But the WNBA star’s support isn’t new; she’s been his biggest cheerleader both online and courtside.

Back in December, she was spotted at one of his games, rooting for him from the stands. As the young star delivered an impressive 20-point performance, shooting 8-for-18 from the field and 3-for-4 from beyond the arc, the 27-year-old’s Instagram story that day was filled with pride, captioning a video with, “Light 20 piece! Super proud of you.” Clearly, she’s not just hyping him on social media; she’s there for the big moments, too.

But fans couldn’t help but notice the timing. She posted the story just a day after her boyfriend Jaylen Brown’s Boston Celtics game against the Orlando Magic. But speculation aside, that’s a story for another day. For now, Kysre is cheering out loud for her brother as she hustles on her own.

Just before appreciating Grant on her story, she shared a video of an arena, which shows she is training herself, too. Drafted as the No. 4 pick by the Indiana Fever in 2021, Gondrezick’s rookie season was unfortunately cut short due to injury. Later, signed by the Chicago Sky, Kysre saw limited playing time before being waived.

While her WNBA career has faced setbacks, she hasn’t let that slow her down. Fans had hoped to see her in Unrivaled, but hints of her participation fizzled out. That said, she hasn’t stopped working on her game. Off-court, she continues doing what she is best at.

What’s your perspective on:

Is Kysre Gondrezick's support for her brother the ultimate sibling goal or just social media hype?

She paired a bikini and casual black spaghetti top with jeans, flaunting her chic side in a way that set social media on fire. This isn’t her first foray into the fashion world, though. Kysre has been collaborating with big brands for a while, effortlessly blending her love for basketball and high fashion.

However, what’s caught fans’ attention lately is the disappearance of the boyfriend she soft-launched a few months ago. The pictures are gone, and appearances are scarce. Will she address it? We never know.

On the brighter side, her consistent training videos hint at a possible return to the court. Be it the WNBA or Unrivaled, fans can’t wait to see her back in action. Until then, she will surely keep hitting the headlines and grinding it out.
