Is Shannon Sharpe's warning to Hunter and Sanders a wake-up call or just unnecessary fear-mongering?

Coach Prime is the new age innovation of College Football, whether it’s the on-field expertise or the lifestyle coaching sessions Deion Sanders infuses the Buffs with an intense desire to win. For the coming season, Deion Sanders is doing everything possible to motivate his star players Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, and the whole vibe tribe.

In their first season back in the Big 12 Conference, the Colorado Buffaloes have made remarkable progress in terms of recruiting the best talents through the transfer portals. With last season’s heartbreaking loss, Deion Sanders Buffs are now coming off as an unpredictable yet improved football team following high-power training camps and a visionary approach resulting in improvements.

To keep this progress constant Deion Sanders invited legendary Baltimore Ravens and Miami football superstar Ed Reed to visit the Buffs and give them his wisdom. Thee Pregame Show Network, a YT show, covered the speech on August 22. Reed’s words were straight away giving a reality check to the players about the intensity of the season, “Football is war! You’re an army, you know that? Are you ready for that? It’s violent and physical. You can die, you know that? It’s serious out here, you can die playing football,”

Well, it’s a do-or-die situation for the Buffs as the team had a disappointing start under Deion Sanders in 2023. However, the session with Ed Reed was very savvy as he shared a hard-hitting message with the players saying “You can’t be tired. You gotta have the energy to go out there today and do this thing the right way.”  He also explained the importance of consistency throughout the game. Reed’s presence shook the whole locker room at Boulder. What’s better than a charging-up session by a Hall of Famer leading you toward the coming season?

On August 29th, the Colorado Buffs are all set to kick off the College Football season against the North Dakota State Bison. Heisman Trophy contenders Quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Cornerback Travis Hunter will lead the team and bring a high level of skill to the game. But it’s not it; Coach Prime has created a powerhouse team filled with highly promising players.

Deion Sanders and the Buffs this offseason were getting better on the offensive line by adding devastating Wide Receiver Drelon Miller with 4 Running Backs Dallan Hayden and Isaiah Augustave, and freshman signees Micah Welch and Brandon Hood from the transfer portal. But the one player who stood out in the fall camp was wide receiver Will Sheppard, who caught 152 passes for 2,067 yards and 21 touchdowns. This transfer could give Colorado’s offensive line a big edge.

Another priority for the Buffs this offseason was improving the team’s defensive line as they were struggling with the team’s alignment to get a consistent pass rush and hold up last season, so Deion Sanders added recruits Brandon Davis-Swain, Dayon Hayes, BJ Green, Quency Wiggins, and Samuel Okunlola to the defensive end of the team. Some experts predict that the Buffs will not exceed six wins in the coming season, while others believe Coach Prime’s improved team has a chance to compete for the Big 12 title.
