Week 2 of the NFL is approaching with possibilities of good news for Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Xavier Weaver. Xavier is making headlines ahead of Colorado Buffs vs Colorado State clash talking about his high hopes for his NFL debut this season.

Today, former Colorado Buffs coach and now media personality Mike Stanford took “X” to post Xavier’s recent conversation video with Jake Schwanitz where he expressed his excitement about moving to Week 2 of the National Football League. Mike has been a big fan of Weaver, saying, “What an incredible dude! I wasn’t at CU when I coached there, but I immediately became a fan of his game and his character.”

This year, the Cardinals signed him as an undrafted free agent and made him part of their 53-man roster. Well, he could be making his first appearance for the Cardinals this weekend. When Xavier was asked about his regular season debut, he said, “I am ready.”

Xavier also talked about his enthusiasm for the Colorado Buffs’ upcoming match against the Colorado Rams, as he expects a thrilling game like last year from the Buffs. He also added to this by saying “getting the popcorn ready and waiting for the boys to win”. Given Xavier Weaver’s history as a Colorado Buffs player, his support for them was not surprising.

Deion Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes, started their season with an impressive performance against North Dakota, resulting in a high-margin win of 31-26. This has to do primarily with Coach Prime’s efficient coaching style and the way he used the transfer portal efficiently. The Buffs offense looked significantly improved, leading the team to its ultimate victory. Freshman running back Dallan Hayden ran for 52 yards, trying for 14 attempts. Even dual threat Travis Hunter emerged as a key player for the team, running for 242 receiving yards with 17 receptions and 3 touchdowns. If they continue to keep their decent game, the Buffs might have an edge over the Rams.

Coming to the Colorado State Rams gameplay this season, the team has been showing a balanced offensive approach. The team won their match against the Northern Colorado Bears with a 38-17 score. The Rams’ passing game was on point as running back Justin Marshall ran for 173 rushing yards with 35 attempts. Wide receiver Tory Horton backed up Justin by efficiently receiving 96 yards for 8 receptions, resulting in a strong offense.

Well, now both teams are standing on a 1-1 win record as they lost their week two match against Nebraska and Texas. However, according to recent predictions made by Fox Sports, the Buffs have a 72.6% chance to win against the State Rams.
