Hubbard is living his second season with the Crimson Tide. He’s a former four-star athlete in the 2023 class from Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Brayson Hubbard keeps his departed mom in his prayers in every game
Brayson Hubbard made a unique gesture in the memory of his mum. He took special permission from coach Saban to wear a pink headband to games. His mother, Courtney, had died of cancer when the kid was in his seventh grade. The loving lady, a responsible school teacher, and an affectionate mother made a permanent void in his son’s life.
‘‘I want to make her smile every game. I want to make her happy no matter what,’‘ Hubbard said in a local media outlet while discussing his pink band obsession. The athlete said he loves to wear the band, as it was his mum’s favorite. Even before Nick Saban signed the Mississippi native, fans started to visualize the champ taking off his helmet and the band and shaking the opponent’s hand after clinching a gusty win with his mother smiling from above.
