Listen, the Michigan Wolverines ain’t having a good time. Standing on 5-4, Bowl games and playoff chances are off the list. The only thing Michigan Wolverines can do right now is at least end the season with a positive run record. But now, even that is questionable. After their disaster loss against the Ducks with 17-38 on the board, Sherrone Moore and Co. will be losing out on some key players going into the Indiana Hoosiers showdown. One such player is CB Will Johnson. Against the Ducks, Michigan managed to lose Johnson because of an injury, and now, with the latest injury report out; Johnson’s availability for the game has been ruled as OUT.
If there is one CB left who can help the Wolverines stay on that turf, it’s Jyaire Hill. See, even Hill was sidelined against the Ducks after his injury, but against Hoosiers, he has been given the “questionable” status. Which means we could end up seeing him on that turf. As of now, Hill has started in 5 games for Moore and Co. and has also been one of the key players for the Michigan defensive line.

Dude has racked in 22 solo tackles this season, along with 1 interception and 7 pass defenses. He was one of the key players during the Trojans showdown, where Moore finally managed to impress fans with a 27-24 win over Lincoln Riley and Co.
Coming from Kankakee HS, Hill has been marked as a 4-star CB for the roster and stands as the No.23 CB in the entire nation, as per 247Sports. If he does come back, then Michigan’s defense has a chance of standing up against the Hoosiers.
However, we would take this with a grain of salt. See, the Wolverines winning against Curt Cignetti would turn their entire season around. Indiana has been on a 9-0 run, and no team has even managed to come close to shutting them down. With the lackluster QB performance and the predictable play calling, can Moore even manage to get points on the board?

Curt Cignetti coming for that throat
What’s your perspective on:
Can the Wolverines defy the odds and upset the undefeated Hoosiers despite their injury setbacks?
Have an interesting take?
The Huskers game should provide you with everything you need to know about the Hoosiers’ defense and offense. These guys mopped the floor with Matt Rhule and Co. Yes, we understand that the Huskers have had quite a downfall, but you still have to admit that they have one of the best defenses in the country. They have barely let anyone go past the 30-point mark, but what did Cignetti do? 56-7.
Does Michigan have a chance at winning this? Realistically, no. Cignetti’s biggest challenge this season was getting a win over the Huskies. They successfully managed to get that done, and with that off the table, the Wolverines stand zero chance because they had lost to Washington.

Yeah, Hill might play a major role for the D-line, but it won’t be enough to stop the Hoosiers offense. Count this as the 5th loss for the Wolverines and Sherrone Moore.
