Law enforcement noted Lacy and his reps have been in contact with troopers and are in a common pursuit of getting the NFL draft prospect to turn himself in. LSU has yet to release a statement on the incident. However, multiple charges against their key WR will certainly draw some strong internal disciplinary action, especially given how badly it affects the team’s collective reputation in the nation.
The 24-year-old was LSU’s second-leading WR in yards and had a team-leading nine touchdown catches. Lacy amassed 112 catches for 1,692 yards and 16 TDs in his three seasons with the Tigers. ”I want to express my appreciation to all my coaches, support staff, and trainers for helping develop me as a football player, but most importantly as a person. Although we didn’t accomplish our goal of winning a national championship, I promise to take all of those life lessons with me in the next chapter of my life,” Lacy added whiteout, knowing all these sweet words were soon to be turned into an awkward bitter wind up of his tenure.
NFL career largely depends on the progress and final outcome of the case. With the severity of the charges, it is unlikely to get drafted at all, amidst the legal intricacy. Rest assured, we will keep our eyes on further updates.
