Josh will be in his sixth season in CFB overall and his fourth season as head coach of the Vols. His leadership this year is quite outstanding. Heupel has the second-highest winning percentage of any Vol coach in the last 50 years with a 33–13 record (.717).

In 2022, he also led the Vols to an 11-2 season, which featured road wins over Alabama and Orange Bowl triumphs over Clemson.
