She is the one who has watched Jeff rise from coaching at Georgia Southern University to his current spot as the head coach of Army Black Knights football team. Under his leadership, the Army has witnessed multiple commander-in-chief Trophies, such as four in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2023. They won bowl games in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2021. While Jeff’s success is known by all, Beth’s role in shaping their family life is significant. The couple is blessed with three daughters: Isabelle, Amelia, and Evangeline. Although Beth likes to maintain a lowkey lifestyle, it’s clear that her family-oriented values have played a huge role in allowing Jeff to taste success in his coaching career.
When did Jeff Monken get married?
The couple got married years ago, even before Jeff became a familiar face in this sport. Their marriage predates Jeff’s rise to national prominence, which started when he was at Georgia Southern University from 2010 to 2013. During his tenure, he helped Georgia Southern win two Southern Conference championships and was also selected in the playoffs.

The Monkens’ enduring partnership has seen significant success, including Army’s notable success in 2018. Jeff’s squad achieved a historic 11-win streak and won their first Lambert trophy in around 60 years. He grabbed a few awards as well for that season, such as the ‘George Munger Collegiate Coach of the Year award and the Vince Lombardi College Football Coach of the Year award.
Beth has also been continuously pushing him to his limits, especially during Army’s resurgence. Since 2014, Army has won four consecutive bowl games under his guidance. Impressively, in 2023, Army secured its first victory over a ranked opponent since 1972 while playing against the 17th-ranked Air Force. In summary, Beth is not a person who likes to be in the limelight, but her steady presence has clearly been an essential part of Jeff’s ability to focus on things clearly.
