Hamilton and Easter met each other at the University of Jayhawks and instantly felt themself under the spell of Cupid’s aero. Another startling love story sailed off. The duo has currently been enjoying the honeymoon bubble of their relationship. While the couple often refrains from the public display of affection, Hamilton made a cute IG post on her beloved birthday a few weeks back.

One fact that made it even more unique and beautiful is Hamilton, 24, has been a beauty in the sport. Her dynamic softball statistics with the Kansas are as stupendous as her childlike innocence written on her face.

Hamilton rose to the rank of supremacy as a three-year letterwinner on the Kansas Softball team and made the team shine bright through each of her three seasons. As a freshman, Hamilton made it to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team with consistent breakthrough performances. Her incredible record stretched up to 59 strikeouts in 78.2 innings pitched. Last season as a junior, Hamilton was at the key architect behind the majority of Kansas’ biggest wins.

”Any time you have a lefty pitcher in the circle, that is significant. But probably, most importantly, is just her compete factor. I mean, Kasey’s a great athlete. She’s really not just a pitcher, she’s a great athlete, and she plays — she fields her position well, she plays with a lot of passion, she’s fun to watch, she’s very engaging with people. So, she’s a great attraction for fans and little kids.” This is how KU head coach Jennifer McFall described Easter’s sweetheart, the young wonder of Kansas.

But she doesn’t only garner all the praise for what she does in the court. Rather, she had more to offer. Kasey is a leader on and off the field. This past summer Hamilton received a rare opportunity to be a part of the Kansas Athletics Summer Internship program. There, she marked another side of her talent, gaining hands-on experience with the Marketing and Fan Experience department.

As a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), Hamilton spent a considerable time in the communications department, running the SAAC social media accounts through various creative innovations and collaborations to boost content and engagement across all of Kansas’ teams. Hamilton represented Kansas at the 2023 Big 12 Career Tour in Dallas at the end of the 2023 fall semester. The Senior left-handed pitcher has bagged the 2023-24 Marlene Mawson Exemplary Woman Student-Athlete Award, as a reward to all of her grit and offering to the sport.
