As soon as Prentice joined Alabama in 2022, he earned a spot in the starting wide receiver rotation. In his first season with the Crimson Tide, he recorded 337 yards, two touchdowns, and 31 receptions. He appeared in 10 games that season. The wide receiver had an even better year with the Crimson Tide in 2023; he played eight games with 18 receptions for 314 yards and two touchdowns.
