Zion Tracy’s parents are Zaire and Katrina Tracy. They both play a significant role in encouraging Zion to become a football player. Zion Tracy and his football adventure
Zion’s football journey started from St. Thomas More School and then he transferred to Long Island Lutheran High School. Zion showcased his ability on the field while playing for both of them. He had 500 receiving yards, 12 touchdowns, and three interceptions in his final year. Long Island Lutheran’s outstanding 8-0 record in 2019 and 7-1 record in 2021 were made possible by his performance.

After receiving several college offers and being named a four-star recruit by On3, Zion committed to Penn State in September 2022. He played in all 13 games during his rookie season at Penn State, making a substantial contribution to special teams and defense. With 13 tackles (11 solo) at the end of the season, he was named the coaching staff’s Special Teams Player of the Week. He continued to improve as a sophomore, including a pick-six in a particularly impressive game against OSU.
