After committing to Oregon, Kyron left the program and flipped to USC. The reason behind his choice to play for USC was the idea of being close to his family. “It was just a great day, starting off with just saying ‘happy birthday’ to my mom—a person who is very important to me; I am very close; I’m a mom’s boy,” Kyron stated that telling his mom that he was going to be staying home felt very special to him. He was thrilled to be called a Trojan.
