Do the announcers make or break your game day experience, or is it all about the players?

USC is heading to the Midwest to fight off Minnesota on Saturday at Huntington Bank Stadium with a huge confidence boost after scoring a spectacular eleventh-hour comeback against Wisconsin. The Trojans hold day stats of 29 first downs, 11 for 17 on third-down conversions, and 2 for 2 on fourth downs and 469 total yards, justifying their 38-21 last weekend. On the other hand, Minnesota had to give up with a 24-27 tally against Michigan after a futile attempt to rally in the second half. So, it’s no wonder Saturday’s underdog vs the favorite battle to stretch their rank higher will be sensational and will keep you hooked for an hour. Rest, you can be sure of getting a flawless commentary throw throughout as a legendary broadcaster pair will be there on standby.

Minnesota has had an underwhelming start to the season, standing out in just two games among the first five. Week 4 and week 5 have been especially disappointing for Fleck and his team, with two major upsets against the Hawkeyes and the Wolverines. They will vest their all to flip the past in the Huntington Bank Stadium. But for this, they need to come out of their recent swing in the season to start on a high note in the first half and get fizzled out in the latter half. As the coach denied accepting the last loss, dubbing it as a moral victory, we can sense the current the Gophers are carrying into their nerves while embarking on the week 6 challenge. The flavor of the raging fire will be even more intense with the quintessential announcer duo Guy Haberman and Roth Yogi on the mic.

Coming to USC, Riley, after the last game, described the Trojan’s offensive poster boy, Moss, as someone who carried the team forward through the fire in the last half.

Riley has his biggest strength on superstar QB Moss, and it has been an accustomed key flex for him that will play a major factor in Saturday’s game as well. Yogi and Haberman will play major roles in psyching up the crowd behind the screen.

Former Pitt wide receiver Yogi has been a veteran face in sportscasting, dishing his talent with multiple Big Ten matchups. Fans barely felt underfed about any of the games where Roth was to serve as the voice narrative. His standout perspective has been a huge asset to the networks, making it one of the pioneers in the industry. The 39-year-old also runs a podcast show to conduct a deeper analysis of the on-field affairs to keep us ahead of the game.

Coming to another gem in the team, Guy Haberman, he has been on a tear as the lead host of the Pac-12 networks based in San Francisco for nearly a decade. The media mogul also left his legacy as a play-by-play and studio host of NBA Sports. Despite having a vocal chord surgery earlier this year, Haberman is good to go to deliver one of his usual masterpieces during USC vs the Gophers this week.
