Stanford Cardinal will meet the Clemson Tigers in a historical match on Death Valley for the week 5 contest. Both teams will bring their equal stats to the ACC season to make it a close-knit fight. Clemson has been well aware of the strongly built offensive line they have in their favor that led him to the scale of 125 points in its two dominant wins over Appalachian State and N.C. State. On the other hand, Stanford Cardinal will contest their second road game of the season. They will put their celebrated defense on the show to stop the insane speed of Cade Klubnik, a scoring machine in the truest sense.
The Tigers are coming off fresh from a dominant week in their past two games against Appalachian State and NC State. They already took each of the two games on their side, outdoing the opponents 933-363 in the first half. Nonetheless, for coach Dabo Swinney, who has currently been facing a backlash for not getting his team a national title or taking it to the playoffs in the last few years, it was a tight slap in the critics’ faces. However, Sunday’s battle will add to his credentials if the Tigers end up on a similar terrific note.
There will be a lot to watch about the thematics of the core sport happening at the Memorial Stadium this Sunday. Heck, some will lend an ear to the commentary box as well which will undergo an exciting experiment. Mark Jones and Roddy Jones will get hold of the mic throughout a stellar showdown.

You might cast some doubts on the broadcaster’s duo for their zero experience in doing play-by-play and color commentary together, but the game in Death Valley will be a great opportunity for them to gain mass trust in their work. It won’t be a tough nut for Mark Jones, as he had a significant amount of exposure to college football viewers.

As a seasoned faithful, Jones previously brought his talent to the surface as either a play-by-play announcer or sideline reporter for the network for several years. Apart from football, he dipped his feet in the NBA commentary box as one of the lead play-by-play announcers for ESPN’s coverage. Also, he earned the chance to learn alongside veteran analyst Louis Riddick for the Colorado-Colorado State football game last year. So, we can only expect the best from him in a crucial Week 5 game.
