Are these the best announcers for the Iowa vs. Houston game, or would you prefer someone else?

Matt Campbell and his team, the Iowa State Cyclones, are aiming for a 4-0 season start since 2000. Campbell, who joined Iowa State in 2016, is also looking for his 57th coaching victory. This week marks the Big 12 opener for the Cyclones. With three back-to-back victories, the Cyclones are looking very strong. Meanwhile, the Houston Cougars are looking forward to ending a four-game losing streak on the big platform of Big 12 matchups. They are seeking to avoid its first 1-4 start since 2004. Willie Fritz and his team need to pull up their socks as they enter the highly anticipated game.

Last week, Cincinnati dominated them throughout the game and won with a huge margin of 34 points. They didn’t give the Houston offense a single chance to score. However, this Saturday is going to be a big day for football fans. While Cyclones is hoping to maintain their winning streak, Houston is looking forward to ending their losing streak. Let’s discuss who is calling the games between the Houston Cougars vs. Iowa State Cyclones.

The game will be played at TDECU Stadium in Houston, Texas. For fans who cannot attend the live game in the stadium, there is no need to worry because broadcast channel FS1 will bring the live action on your TV screens. Eric Collins is one of the announcers for Saturday. He is currently serving as the play-by-play voice for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets on Bally Sports South.

Iowa State Cyclones dominated Arkansas State in week 4

Jack Trice Stadium went crazy after the Cyclones won their game against Arkansas State. They beat the Red Wolves by 52-7. Running back Aiden Flora scored his first career touchdown on an eight-yard run when just 24 seconds were left in the game. Dylan Lee scored his career’s first touchdown in the fourth quarter with the help of freshman Connor Moberly.

With Dylan’s contribution, they marked the sixth touchdown, along with a field goal. Arkansas State tried to get back into the game when Websley Etienne intercepted quarterback Connor Moberly’s pass. Etienne tried to return it but could only make ten yards. Moberly tackled him and knocked the ball from his hands. Eli Green recovered for the Cyclones at the 42-yard line. Carson Hansen added another touchdown for his team with a three-yard run.

The Cyclones would hope for a similar dominating performance in week 5. It doesn’t matter that you have gone back-to-back. Regular season is all about momentum. One week, you are on top of the mountain; the very next week, you may stare at the top after someone pushed you off from your position. Let’s see how this week pans out for the Cyclones.
