And what do the odds say? Well, as per the Vegas, Penn State is favored by an impressive 24.5 odds, with the over sitting at 50.5 points. Yeah, they’re predicting Penn State to run away with this one. And why not? The Nittany Lions’ offense has been cooking, with an average of 32.4 points each game, and so has their defense? They allowed only 14.6 points. Isn’t it impressive?

While the Maryland offense is not so good. Majorly struggling to find its foot. But it’s still too early to count the Terps just yet. Quarterback Billy Edwards Jr. has completed 2881 yards and 15 touchdowns so far this season, with a tag of leading the big ten in completion. Along with Edward, wide receiver Tai Felton is also someone you should keep an eye on.

Key players to watch in the upcoming game between Penn State and Maryland

Penn State quarterback Drew Allar is the guy Maryland should be worrying about. He has thrown for 2497 yards and 17 touchdowns so far this season. Then there’s running back Kayton Fallen, who’d racked up more than 600 yards and many touchdowns. He’s the beast Maryland is going to need to put pressure on.

Meanwhile, Edwards will need to be to the point against a defense that’s been very hard to score on. While there are ways if he manages to connect with Felton and his other mates, they still have a shot. Besides that, it’s not only any other game for Pen State to win; rather, it’s their direct ticket to the playoff and set the stage for the bowl game. Head coach James Franklin will be stressed about sealing the deal for them.
