Will Ohio State's experience crush Indiana's historic run, or are we in for a shocker?

The weeks are wrapping up, and we are heading towards the trail of a fantastic season. But before we hit the bottom line and pick our SEC champion on the spot, there are still a few chances left for the program to improve its stats and drag a better finish to the year. As we are living an intense week 13, Ryan Day’s Ohio State will look to add more stacks to their championship contender, defeating the undefeated Indiana. On the flip, the Hoosiers managed to make history under coach Curt Cignetti, mounting 10 wins a season for the first time. While the No.2 Buckeyes had their path straight and clear from the beginning, the Hoosiers had to make it to the No.5 after weeks of accused ‘brand bias’ and AP Poll snub. It is the sheer contrast that made Saturday’s game a must-watch for every college football fan. But it’s not alone. An iconic broadcasting crew isn’t likely to spare you from missing their sensational commentary.

Gush Johnson and Joel Klatt will grace the announcer’s table for another game day this weekend, with Jenny Taft taking care of the sidelines. The Big Noon Kickoff from Fox will hit Columbus for a rousing showdown. ESPN’s College GameDay will also be on the watch, marking their third presence at the Ohio State game this season.

The Buckeyes will head to their home game as favorites against upstart Indiana. If Cignetti can manage to avoid a week 13 upset as they did so far, they will be locked for the title game. Another history on the line! And this win is a mandate for the Buckeyes nonetheless, but it won’t suffice. The Buckeyes will have to rule over the Wolverines next week to ensure a trip to Indianapolis.

Ohio State has already tested its potential against two top-five opponents on the road this year, counting one loss against Oregon. Are they psyched up to dish a jerk to the Cignetti’s national coach of the year-like season?

OSU will turn to the learnings of a bad day against Oregon to nail week 13

Indiana has dominated Ohio State only 12 times, and that too before 1998. Ryan Day seems to play his cards together before reigniting a historically uneven rivalry. ”Our guys are fired up for this one. This is a must-win for us. We’ve got to win to go play in Indianapolis. We’re looking forward to this week of prep and are challenging our guys to have the best week of preparation they’ve had all season and then get after it on Saturday,’‘ said Ryan Day, clearly reflecting on what they are here for.

The Buckeyes, despite some loopholes under the belt, possess the big strength of eating up only a single loss against Ranked 1 Oregon. While the loss might ruin their undefeated tag, it came off as a wake-up call. Big plus point for the crucial final week’s games! As Will Howard said, ”I feel confident we’ve seen it, we’ve done it. We’ve been in these big games. I’ve played in a lot of them myself. I think we learned from the Oregon game going into the Penn State game and how to finish a game.”

Just on the flip, Hoosiers will be a newbie here, not knowing how to survive a loss and have a self-evaluation before the big games. Will their continuous winning streak be bitter on their week 13 fate?
