Apart from the Hoosiers star coach known for his brash, unapologetically ambitious approach, Cignetti has infused the team with a new level of confidence. Another player who is doing some similar things is QB Tayven Jackson. The third-year senior player has been a fan favorite since transferring from Tennessee to his home-state school. Though he struggled last year, he now looks comfortable filling in for the injured Kurtis Rourke for the second half.
For the Huskies, CB Thaddeus Dixon will wreak havoc. The LA prep star’s game film shows his versatility. At 6-foot-1, he can give taller receivers a tough day. The CB’s week 9 stats with 19 tackles, 1/2 tackle for loss, one interception, and a team-high six pass breakups can be a problem.
