Janos Angeli is Steve Angeli’s father. At the moment, Janos serves as the VP of occupier services and enterprise project management at Colliers. The Maine Maritime Academy awarded him a B.Sc. in Marine Engineering Technology. Despite not having athletic experiences, Janos provided guidance and support, which had a big influence on Steve’s athletic career.

Steve Angeli’s mom, Stefanie Angeli, is a highly accomplished woman. She received a degree in PR, Marketing, and Applied Media from Monmouth University. At the moment, Stefanie is employed at ALM Media, LLC, as a Senior Account Manager. She manages a well-organized family in addition to her career accomplishments.

You know, he didn’t bat an eyelid when Brian Kelly quit his position at Notre Dame to take over as HC of LSU.

After this, his mother said, “He doesn’t over-worry about things he can’t control. He was not concerned. Coaches come and go; it’s about his teammates. That’s not to say that he doesn’t love his coaches and want them to be there, but first and foremost, it’s about his team.” It just shows that Steve and his mother have a close bond.

Where did Steve grow up?

Steve Angeli grew up in Westfield, New Jersey. There he attended Bergen Catholic High School, and from there his football journey started. He excelled as a quarterback in high school, helping his squad win the New Jersey State Championship in 2021 and finish with a perfect 12-0 record. Because of his outstanding performance, ESPN named him a 4-star prospect.

In January 2022, following high school graduation, Angeli enrolled at Notre Dame. He participated in two games that season and made his college debut in October against UNLV. During the 2023 season, he was Sam Hartman’s backup QB and showed off his skills, notably throwing for 232 yards and three TDs in the Sun Bowl to help the team defeat Oregon State.
