Kaidon’s parents are high school sweethearts. Mistee and Ken met at DeSoto for the first time. Then, when Ken was a standout player for the Eagles football team, they got together and Mistee was there for him every game night, supporting him. Salter had a fantastic 2023 season, leading his team with 2,876 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, and a CUSA MVP award. He also impressed on the ground with 1,186 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns. With such a strong performance last year, it’s no surprise that people have high expectations for him in 2024. Let’s see if he lived up to the hype.

The junior quarterback has had a bit of a bumpy start to the season this year.
