Chez Mellusi’s journey from Naples, Florida, to the college football spotlight is the stuff of high school legend. As a standout in high school football, Mellusi racked up jaw-dropping stats—3,905 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns, with a senior year average of 165 yards per game and an eye-popping 9.9 yards per carry. Those numbers didn’t just hint at potential; they practically screamed that a future star was in the making.

His college career began with the Clemson Tigers, where Mellusi wasted no time making an impact. In a hostile 2020 game against the Pittsburgh Panthers, Mellusi shined, scoring two touchdowns—his first career multi-touchdown game. Over two seasons with the Tigers, he showcased his versatility and explosiveness, racking up 427 rushing yards and six touchdowns, proving he was a force to be reckoned with. But his journey didn’t stop there.

Behind every success story is a support system, and for Chez Mellusi, that comes from his parents, Mario Mellusi and Tersea Mathis. While there isn’t much publicly available about them, their unwavering support helped their son overcome significant challenges, including a knee injury and a broken arm, as he continued his football career with the Wisconsin Badgers. Their influence, combined with Chez’s relentless drive, is a testament to what perseverance and ambition can achieve.
